    They already started filming a spinoff when Andy’s 1st bout with cancer delayed filming of season 2. It will now premiere in Jan 2011 when the 2nd season of Spartacus was supposed to debut.

    I knew about the prequel, but I was thinking about going back further with Crixus and Doctore, focusing on what led them to the arena in the first place.  Maybe that will be covered in the prequel, but they haven’t really said anything besides the fact that it’s going to focus on the House of Batiatus.
