I think what you are missing is that Media Center does not have Dish Network EPG for Digital Cable tuners. Media Center’s EPG coverage is lacking when it comes to satellite, DVB-S, etc.., providers.

No one ever said anything about their own GUIEPG. It is cumbersome for users to have to use a 3rd party tool to import their guide lineup into Media Center.
