    I couldn’t hear it when there was sound playing, but I am a psycho, and couldn’t help but listen for it, and there are a LOT of quiet moments in which I could hear it.

    I had ALMOST had ABT replace it, but they had already replaced the Sony with the Panny, and I didn’t want them to open yet another TV and cost them more money if I didn’t like it.  They have been very cool, and I didn’t want to take advantage of their good service.  I am pickier than most, but not in a sane way, so I struggle in life, and TV purchases. :'(
