ASUS O!Play HDP-R1 1080p media streamer on sale now for $100

It wouldn’t be a normal week without at least two extenders announced or reviewed, right? Well, ASUS is obliged and has released an oddly named "O!Play" device which, surprise, can do 1080p and a plethora of formats. No wifi built-in though, so keep that in mind.

There’s also a full remote control and nifty GUI, while AV connections include HDMI, composite audio/video and optical digital audio. File type support includes DivX, Xvid, MKV and MPG, among others, together with MP3, AAC and FLAC audio.
