The iPod 30GB is a nice little device for when you are traveling. My issue with it is that I only get about 2 hours of battery life when watching tv/movie which can be a rough limitation when spending the day on a plane. I’ve heard the new ones may have better battery life, so if you have any experience with that would appreciate to hear it.
I’ve been using a third party app to convert some tv shows over to an ipod friendly format, but it doesn’t handle 16×9 content well….it all gets squished into a 4×3 box. Do any of the convertors you used handle 16×9 HD content properly?
