    The one thing that keeps me away from using a Mini is that it uses the onboard Intel IGP while the AppleTV uses a 7300GS Go for video work and probably to for hardware acceleration.

    Now that they’ve modded the AppleTV for larger HDDs, playback of non iTunes videos and even fully installing OS X onto it I’m beginning to seriously consider an AppleTV over the Mini. If they can get it to play streamed video (like in a client/server setup) as well as ripped DVDs then thats going to seal the deal to me. 🙂

    That is until they decide to update the Mini with an IGP that actually makes it worth considering.
