The Load Testing Audio Impressions of this unit were some of the best to date in our testing. Like the Corsair HX620 the Seasonic S12II-500 was relative to our environment the sound of silence. Having already experienced the Corsair we were not nearly as taken with the unit’s lack of noise, but it certainly was still eerie to have a power supply making no noise relative to our environment at full load. If a user is looking for as silent a solution as one can get while still being cooled with a fan the Seasonic S12II is a good candidate and it continues Seasonic’s fine reputation as being the leader in quiet power supply solutions.
I like that quote. Hardocp has did a good job in the PSU testing arena but have a ways to go for sound measurement.
