I know this was discussed to death at HTPCNews, but that does me no good now.
I have a gig of music ripped from my CDs to an iRiver mp3 player in WMA format, I used the default format, which was a ‘moderately high’ quality rip.
Just acquired a 60gig iPod, would like to move my existing ripped music to it.
Is it worth using the built in iTunes converter, or would sound quality suffer?
If it would suffer, (and I’ll re-rip a few songs to evaluate for myself), do people have a favorite tool for this task?
Last option, do I just re-rip the CDs in iTunes for best results.
