I’m currently searching for a nice case to put my HTPC in to, and I am debating on whether I want a case with some kind of display or just a “plain” case. What I don’t want is something that’s going to be bright and distracting. My question is, a lot of the VFDs mention they’re compatible with MCE, but I run Windows XP Home with SageTV. Will a VFD display information with this setup or does it HAVE it to be used with MCE only?
