I currently use MCE 2005 and use 1 500gb disk as storage for recorded shows. But now I need more space.
How can I increase my space to 1tb?
Few alternatives that come to mind:
1)Buy 2 500gb drives. Set up raid on Asus A8N-E. After setting up raid, copy all the current files from the current 500gb to the raid setup. Cons: No experience setting up raid and don’t know how much success I will have using NForce 4 mobo raid
2)Install raid card in my already over-crowded HTPC
3)Build a Home Server. Cons: Don’t really have time for this right now. Want to move to this eventually but I want it done right and that takes time/research
Also I will upgrade to Vista as soon as I have time. So the solution needs to work with Virsta
