i wonder if the haven’t made it to lean
some form of mail server for the family would have been interesting
or if you want to go the multimedia way, how about a bunch of tuners and software that allows them to be programmed from lets say mce machines, remotes(sideshow) phones en xbox360’s
i am currently looking for a centralized storage system but the price premium over a simple nas box like the netgear sc101t is way to high to even consider
sure if you have an old machine it will work, i have a athlon 2500 machine that would be available, but it has only 2 sata connectors and its cpu alone uses 4x the juice the nas box uses
