I recently built an HTPC and have ripped all my DVD’s to hard drives using AnyDVD. I am using TheaterTek to play those movies and I am experiencing video / audio stuttering while watching them.
I am using the onboard audio (SP/DIF) and video from my GIGABYTE GA-MA69GM-S2H AM2 AMD 690G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. I am using the component video out cables. The display resolution is only 720×576.
While watching the movie I also brought up the task/processes window. There is not a lot of CPU activity. TheaterTek is only showing less then 10% CPU load.
Has anyone else run into video stuttering problems? Any ideas on what might be causing this to occur?
