      Hi.  Just built my first HTPC with the Pioneer Blu-Ray DVD reader and PowerDVD Ultra for the software.  I use the SPDIF optical out of the mobo (Asus P5K Premium) into my Denon 3805 AV receiver.  I bought ‘Casino Royale’ as my first bluray disc and it looks and sounds great, that is the Dolby Digital 5.1 track sounds great.  If I switch to the supposedly much better ‘uncompressed PCM 5.1’ track, it sounds thin.  Clearly, something is not set up right.  I use AC3filter set with SPDIF passthrough.  Can anyone advise on how to unleash this giant?
