OK, soon I will be purchasing a HTPC system with Cable Card. It will be the first computer I have not built, so I really would like some feedback from all of you out there.
The reason for purchasing and not building is due to cable card. It seems like the feature I absolutely want to have for HDTV but can’t do it myself (this really kills me).
So, if you were to buy a pre-built system which one would it be. I’m ready to lay down some decent loot on this, but will most likely cut corners on the cost by adding things like large HDD’s and maybe even a better graphics card myself. Oh, and I hope to buy a Omaura case (if the ever come stateside) to put it all into, so it doesn’t even have to come in a nice case.
Uses for this system are strictly limited to home theater and automation. I don’t use it for gaming and don’t really do tweaking. I just want a good solid system that maybe has some added space for HDD’s.
