I am really looking forward to this series. I tried WHS and the front end from Doug Barrett. It worked well but the setup screens needed to be a little more intuitive. I am realyl surprised he was able to update it after going to work for MS.
The major problems I had with WHS shares that kept me from staying with it were the timeout issues on downloads greater than a gig and it corrupting files. It was in the news a few weeks ago and I never heard of whether or not it was fixed.
Perhaps you can let us know if you are still limited to about a 1 gig download or if it is a IIS timeout issue.
