I’ve been getting to know Vista over the last couple of weeks and have enjoyed the built-in photo gallery. In particular I have liked how the tag system works, and how you can use the tags to create custom galleries and slide shows.
I would like to find a smallish (lightweight) program that I can put onto an XP machine that also utilises such a Tag system. I think the software that came with my camera may do something like this, but I’m looking for something simpler. I really do not need any fancy editing or converting capabilities–really all I am looking for is a simple photo organizer that I can put already edited photos into.
As always, I’m thinking free, but may be willing to spend a bit if a program is really good.

(Not unnecessarily HTPC related, but, I think, close enough. 😉 )
