This seems like as good a place as any to post my question. I recently purchased this M780 tuner card only to be disappointed by the analog performance. The noise filtering is to strong and will cause ghosting on stations that are to noisy.
I haven’t been able to find any utility to turn the noise filtering down or completely off. If anyone has any advice or suggestions please help me. BTW here are my full system specs
Sempron 2.11GHz
MSI micro-atx board Nvidia 6100 chipset
2GB Ram
1TB hdd space
Radeon 2400HD (DVI-HDMI connection to tv)
LG 32″ LCD HDTV 720p
Media Center Remote
Vista Media Center
I did try the Avermedia Center but couldn’t really find any options to fine tune the filtering, I did make sure to turn off noise-filtering on my television though and that helped my initial problems. Still the card is doing way to much NR and this makes the image have a very plastic look to it and can cause sever ghosting at times.
