I recently added an HDMI receiver to my Home Theater. I moved from DVI to HDMI from my HTPC to the receiver. Here are the issues i’m experiencing:
1. HDMI looks washed out, and not crisp like the DVI.
2. I have to use the Nvidia Control Panel Resize Desktop setting to get to 1920 x 1080p.
3. When I launch Media Center, it looks fine, however when I watch TV or Blue Ray, it scales beyond the borders of the TV like I never resized my desktop to fit.
4. All my scaling options are Greyed out in the Nvidia Control Panel, yet I believe this is normal since the receiver does the scaling.
I’m at a loss here. I bought HDMI receiver to have one device to control everything and it’s just not working out.
Anyone have any ideas how to address these issues.
