I installed the lated 8.5 Driver from ATI and I could not even boot into Safe Mode. I had a raid 0 array with 2 250GB drives.
I then reinstalled to an 80 gig drive and had the same problem. This time I was able to do a repair on it and it told me the error was with some AMDide.sys or something similar to that. So my only guess is they have the catalyst package messed up because I was able to do a restore and get it up and running.
IS there anyone else using the GA-MA69 board here? And if so how did you setup your drives. I am currently using 1 80 for the O.S. and 1 250 for data and games but it is really slow to boot. I have the Sata type set to sata\ACPI I thinkthat is the wording. The other option is Raid or legacy IDE. Which when I got the board I ran legacy ide with no problems but decided to try the raid when I got two matching drives.
Any ideas?
