Due to some issues with my HTPC, I’m considering upgrading to Vista. I’ve been doing a lot of reading about the differences between versions, but I have a question I can’t seem to find an answer to:
If I run Windows Home Server, plus use Vista on several other computers in the house, what version of Vista should I get? Even according to MS’ own Vista comparison, it would seem that WHS will handle the backup duties that Ultimate would offer me, as well as the remote access. Based on that, it would seem that I only need Home Premium. Are there any other useful features I might need from Ultimate in a home/home office/HTPC environment?
