Some friends of mine want me to help them with a media center set-up. They are insisting on paying me with more then a steak dinner (my usual price for computer help). Their proposal involves consultation, construction, and installation.
I think that some readers of this forum have done this sort of thing before and I am curious what the going rate for such services is. Do you charge flat rates or hourly? Any advice is appreciated.
