So, I am beginning to believe I may need to upgrade to an AM2 socket with DDR2 capabilities. But i wanted to complain about the lack of PCI Express slots that the Micro ATX boards support.
Most I have seen only have one x1 and one x16. Well if I want to run a 4550, I am left with one PCI express slot… Most of the newer tuner cards are express, which leaves me 2-3 PCI slots and nothing to put in them.
So out of an honest need I think it would be nice of the manufacturers to make one that had two x1’s and one x16 at least, I can make due with one PCI or even none. I mean is that too much to ask … really?
