I received a MS IR receiver today. I had been using the remote with my Zalman HD160’s IR receiver which uses IRTrans. To get it to work correctly I had to use HIP. Now using the MCE remote every time I press a button on the remote it is like I did a “double press”…press down and it’ll jump 2 spaces down. The reason I wanted it was so I could control PowerDVD better. PowerDVD works well with it. I’ve read of this problem before, but now I can’t find anything on it anywhere. Anyone know how to fix this or where I can find? I tried Sage’s forums but I didn’t get any hits in particular. I KNOW I’ve seen this problem talked about; that’s the frustrating part. I uninstalled HIP to see if that was a problem, but it didn’t help.
