It looks like the DB4 is a UHF antenna why are they selling these antennas as HD antenna if they are going to strip off HD channels in the VHF band.
WEll I plan on just keeping the DB4 and not paying shipping to send it back I only need two VHF channels that are within 15 miles of my house. So should I be able to take any VHF antenna and combine it with the DB4 signal. Will I need a filter to remove the UHF from the antenna or are their VHF only antenna’s.
I really think the FCC needs to jump in soon and get all these manufactures to fix their labeling. Because unless you go to the specifications the product label doesn’t always say UHF only.
They need to call the antenna what it is. UHF. UHF/VHF or UHF/VHF/FM.
There is no such thing as an HDTV antenna or if there was it should include and band that can carry the HD tv signal.
