Not to derail the thread, but I’ve been having some issues with DVRMSToolbox in VMC lately. I had it installed and working with ShowAnalyzer months ago for quite awhile. Then for some reason I uninstalled it (don’t quite remember why anymore, but it’s not important. It might have been just because I noticed there was a new version and decided to upgrade). Anyway, I’ve been trying to get the latest version set up to work in the same fashion as I had it in the past and I just can’t seem to figure it out.
What I want: ability to skip commercials with remote using showanalyzer (I have it registered). This used to work perfectly, and now I can’t seem to figure out what settings will enable that anymore. So far all I’ve been able to do was edit out commercials completely, which I DO NOT want to do. I’d rather do nothing at all than have that. And I believe it was using comskip to do so on top of things. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling and choosing different options on install, but if you don’t check the box for “media center comskip addin” or whatever its called during install, you get an error prompt when you run VMC and trying to “repair” the install does not give you the option to change anything.
What am I doing wrong? Is there some sort of guide to using this thing?
