I was at my father-in-law’s house tonight and I brought him some videos on my USB drive.  I have his PC set up with SageTV.  I have the USB drive set as a folder to look at for videos, so any time that it is plugged in and he goes to “Videos” Sage shows those videos along with the ones on his hard drive as available to play.  To him, it’s seamless.  However, tonight, when I plugged the drive in, Windows Media Player automatically came up and started playing the first video.  I do not want this to happen, because it adds an extra step for him to have to close WMP and adds to his confusion.  This used to not happen, as I thought of this the first time I ever used the drive.  I remember the first time, I chose “Do nothing” and checked “Always perform the action”.  But I tried all kinds of things tonight and each time I plugged the drive in WMP would come up and start playing.  I even went in and unassociated every file type except for “CD” in WMP, but still it would start playing.  I thought that was the whole point of the check boxes.  Can someone tell me how to get WMP to stop playing back automatically?
