What’s the deal with the prices of dual layer blanks? These things have been out for a while and still have not reached an affordable price point. Most of the time when something has been out for quite a while, the price comes down and pushes the older format/hardware/whatever out. But so far this hasn’t happened with Dual layer vs. single layer. Heck, at this pace, if bluray catches on, we’ll see BD-R replace or compete with the single layer before the dual layer does.
