I am fairly new to viewing Bluray’s on my VMC. I have the full version of TMT installed on my 780G based system, and it installed a plug-in on the VMC menu. When I try to use the plugin to view BD’s, my remote doesn’t work inside the plug-in. This is true for my Harmony 550 and my MCE Remote. Obviously I mainly use my 550.
When you try to use the remote(s) from within the plugin, VMC essentially kicks you out of the plugin back to the VMC menu. The plugin continues to run in the background and you can click back into it, but you can’t do anything inside the plug-in with the remote.
When I’m in Vista I use a wireless keyboard/mouse that I use to navigate Vista. My workaround is that I use TMT in Vista with a wireless keyboard/mouse. As you can imagine, this destroys my WAF and my underlying reason for building up HTPC#2 (namely, to allow for Blu-ray viewing)
Any ideas/suggestions ??
BTW… I have seen no stuttering or issues viewing Blu-ray discs with the Athlon x2 running at 2.6GHz in the 780G motherboard.
