Thanks for the review. I didn’t even notice this app, but that’s probably because I use an extender exclusively to view MCE. Which basically means this thing is entirely useless to me. Oh well!
Hell, I’m still bitter about Yahoo pulling their Yahoo Sports for TV app the year I finally built a machine that could run it and bought an extender. Still hoping that the new Yahoo widgets thing being built into a lot of new TVs will bring back some sort of Yahoo fantasy sports integration like Yahoo Sports for TV had. Preferably before football season starts. And preferably extender supported.
Bit off topic, but some of the points you brought up in the article reminded me that I should probably mention that the author of vmcNetflix is working on an interface to the PlayOn digital media server software, providing a frontend-UI and extender support.
