So while I was gone to Austin, TX for a week, my receiver (and UPS) died.  It’s a Pioneer VSX-1014TX 7.1 Channel Receiver that I purchased in 2005.  It didn’t have any hdmi inputs or outputs.

I’m looking for a replacement – I only have a 5.1 speaker setup and don’t really plan on expanding it.  I’ll only be hooking my HTPC and Wii up to it.  The HTPC has a HIS brand ATI HD 4670 which only has dvi outputs, and the Wii has component output.

My current setup uses the SPDIF optical out to the receiver, and I’d probably still go that route…

Any suggestions?  I think I read about some brand’s receivers not working with ATI video cards…

    Thanks,
    Mike
