I want to do something really, really simple but I cannot get a straight answer anywhere. All I want to do is connect my Comcast Digital Set Top Box to Media Center in Windows 7. Now, I know that most posters want to avoid ever getting a set top box and avoid the fees. I honor you. But, I already have one. I just want it to work with media center to make it easier to watch and record TV. I’ll pay. I just want it to work.
How do I connect the Comcast Digital Set Top box to a PC?
What specific brand and model of tuner must I have?
Can do this without cross-coding to analog (I have a digital capable panel)?
