So, last week my WHS box took a dive and crashed hard (I’m sure it’s something hardware related). So hard that I wasn’t able to get it back up and running so I had to migrate the hard drives to systems through out the house and set them as network shares until I can get new hardware for a new WHS build.
Anyways, the whole point is is that I put my DVD storage drive in the HTPC and my DVD rip drive in my desktop, setup the HTPC for the DVD store drive and somehow my TV show folder got mixed in.
The W7 DVD gallery was displaying MKVs and AVIs!! Didn’t realize this until last night so I set it up proper and, on a whim added in my DVD rips folder (containing Xvid copies) [b]and they show up and play[/b]! No metadata but I’m going to see if My Movies Collection manager works! 😀
