I read the whole article and I’m still not sure what public display (non-braodcast) license has to do with managed copy. That seems to be a completely separate nice to have entirely. This is the quote I found interesting:

It’ll be interesting to see if AACS, independently of the studios individual decisions, tries to generate revenue off of managed copy. ie…$1 charge for validating/unlocking…
