I got the Sony HTCT100 soundbar last night at fry’s and I used the included optical cable to connect my tv audio out to the Sony box. But I never see anything other than 2.0 being picked up from the XBOX or the MEdia center.
Should I hook all the devices into the sony receiver instead of the tv?
Or do I have something wrong on the PC. I did go into the audio settings and THE ATI HDMI out will only let me test two front speakers. I would think that the receiver would cause it to see 5.1 even if it virtualizes them.
