    Hi all,

I’m a long-time user of the USB-UIRT and have migrated the one I’m using from my original Windows XP box to MCE 2005, then to Vista, 7 RC 64-bit, and now Windows 7 64-bit, upgrading hardware along the way (I can’t think about how much I’ve spent…).  Anyway, I’ve never had any issues with using the USB-UIRT to wake my PCS from sleep, until now.  I (and apparently others) cannot get my USB-UIRT to wake up my PC after installing my retail version of W7-64, despite it working flawlessly under 7RC-64 using the identical hardware.

So, has anyone found a workaround for this issues?  I’m using the latest posted drivers on the usb-uirt.com web site.  I’ve emailed John so maybe he’s got a solution.

The other alternative is to switch IR receivers.  If that’s my route, can anyone vouch for one that works under W7-64?

    Thanks in advance,
    ET
