I have three PCs and three (legit) copies of Windows 7. I’m wanting to reinstall on one of the PCs, but I didn’t write which PC I used which key on – is there a way to find the installed reg key, or if I have the reg key, see if it matches?
Search for “Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder 2.0.8.01”. This works on Windows 7. It is free and available on many download sites. As always, be sure to run a virus scan before installing any downloaded program.
BelArc advisor will also get you your Windows key, it is a small utility that gives you a list of all the installed software/devices etc : http://www.belarc.com/
