I was shopping for an SSD and found Amazon has the 96GB Kingston V+100 SSD for $95 shipped after $60 rebate (form). Make sure you select Amazon.com under more buying choices so that the rebate is valid.

If you are looking for something a bit smaller and cheaper, Amazon also has the older 64GB Kingston V100 SSD for $60 shipped after $55 rebate.

That’s a great price. I have a 128GB V100 and it’s been really reliable.

I can’t wait until we get to $1/GB on the 120GB SSDs.

I forgot to mention that the V+100 drives have built-in garbage collection which makes them useful for non-TRIM supporting OS as well.

B&H had the 128gb model for $139 earlier, so it’s getting pretty close to $1 at that size. Black Friday will probably push some of them well under a $1/GB <fingers crossed>.

Just received my V+100 SSD from Amazon today. I can’t wait to finish up the first of three Sandy Bridge builds I am doing.
