Did you try the card?  I wouldn’t worry about it.  You won’t find a card that can do what you want it to and have any less power requirements.  I have a pci-e 4550 in a Dell Inspiron 530s.  It only has a 200 ~ 250 watt power supply I believe, and the card works fine.  It might cause the power supply to fail eventually but it’s been working for about a year, and I figure I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.  I don’t have much choice if I want a video card that’s capable of HD playback because I haven’t seen the type of power supply that the Dell uses that has a lot of power to even replace it.
