Re: GeekTonic`s Ultimate Fall TV Guide
I forgot to add Running Wilde to my preview list above. I watched it and thought it was OK. Not the kind of ROTFL response you’d get from The Big Bang Theory but quirky enough to be mildly entertaining.
Detroit 1-8-7 – watched it this morning while having breakfast (I’m an early riser) and will stick with it for at least a few more episodes. The format of the show is a little different and the characters are likeable. As cop shows go, it’s not bad. Michael Imperioli is predictably sarcastic in the character he plays, but it suits him and the show.
Boardwalk Empire promises to be an epic series along the line of The Sopranos. With heavyweights like Martin Scorcese backing the show (he directed the pilot episode) the show has got huge expectations. Give the plot time to develop and you will probably be rewarded for time served. I’m definitely in it for the long haul.
