    OK, I have an update on this issue.

    Today I downloaded and installed Patch Tuesday Windows Updates, then rebooted.

    After the system was back up, I opened WMC and selected Live TV. This is the message I got:

    Viewing or Listening Conflict

    No tuner available to satisfy the current request.

    I waited two minutes and clicked on the “channel up” button, to see if it could now tune to the next channel. This is the message I got then:

    Service is unavailable

    There is currently no TV signal detected for this channel. The channel may be temporarily off the air. Try again later.

    I went up another channel, and got the same message. So this time I waited 10 minutes and tried the “channel down” button. Same message.

    Next I pulled the CableCARD out of the back of the InfiniTV 4 tuner, waited 20 seconds, and pushed it back in. I waited 15 more seconds and clicked on the “channel up” button again.

    This time (as usual) we finally got a live TV channel.
