so i haven’t had this problem with your card specifically but i have experienced it in the past with older cards back in my OEM days.
I must highly suggest installing Logmein on that system, that way if you’re messing with settings and suddenly can’t get picture that you can restore settings via your laptop.
Also, you don’t mention, does the system show BIOS & Boot screen connected only HDMI? And then loses signal when it goes into Windows? Or completely black screen the entire time?
