They were boxed up well but they haven’t been plugged in over 2 decades. Would be a bit concerned if the casing on the wires have turned brittle or if the capacitors have leaked. Stuff used to built pretty solid back then, might even still run without needing (much) work. I’d be curious if any of the disks I packed with them still have a magnetic charge.
I still have fond memories of using a ball point pen, a $5 radio shack light sensor, and some cables to make a light pen for the C64. Between that and the SID chip, it had some great features that disappeared with the early IBM compatibles.
