2013? I don’t see it happening. I think this year was the year a lot of people finally broke down and got their first HDTV. Next year I think BD will get a big jump to if prices drop low at Christmas and continues to drop next year. But to push aside the existing tv to get another one so soon just because of 3d, I don’t see it happening.
My first HDTV was the main living room big screen. Future TVs will be 40-46 TVs for bedrooms. But I won’t drop big money for a new and improved big screen model. That chase is for those with deeper pockets.
