8800GT

so I’m about to purchase a MSI 8800GT from dell (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/games/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=29&sku=a1348853&dgc=CJ&cid=24471&lid=566643)

and am wondering if this is worth it over an 8600GT or even the 7600GT that I’ve got now.

I’m running XP, and have an AMD 3800+ X2 cpu, 1GB ram. I’m watching a lot of OTA HDTV right now, and am looking at adding HD-DVD in the future (or blu-ray if it wins – perferably the combo internal drive 🙂 ).

Thoughts?
