Very nice work.  I can confirm that the 2400pro and the 3450 don’t have the power to do 1080i on mpeg2 properly.  The 3450 was able to do it when i first installed it, but a crash and reboot broke it for me.  It is ridiculous that mpeg2 is still broken while h.264 runs perfectly.  I’m now running VMR9 with the SageTV decoder acceleration turned off.  One nice thing about the SageTV decoder is that I can turn acceleration on / off inside SageTV which i do once in awhile if the 480i show I am watching is improperly deinterlaced.  I’m waiting for a 4450 next.  I keep making this mistake.  I want the lower power card so I keep praying it will work but it never does.  I was so close with the 3450 but I really don’t want to do a full reinstall to try to again cause I would just go vista anyways.
