I have been going thru and converting all my DVDs to MPEG with Slysofts CloneCD Mobile. I use the VOB pass thru option to create one large vob file and then just change the extension to .mpg. This works great with My Movies running on the host. But I noticed yesterday that I have options on some DVD to choose the audio output.

On Eragon for instance I have 3 audio streams. English Dolby ac-3/6, Dolby ac-3/2 and English DTS/6.

3/6 was selected by default but I am pretty sure DTS is better but will it still put out a an audio for ananlog inputs. Or is this a digital output and I won’t get any sound unless the XBOX is connected via spidf or optial outs.

I could test this if I was home but I am connected remotely and going thru converting my library to mpeg which takes about 20 – 45 minutes per dvd.
