      I have my HDMI run from the card to the TV and then the TV has optical to my surround sound. But the receiver only show 2.0 coming in. I also went in TMT3 and changed the audio to output 7.1.

      I think the TV outputs LPCM? via the optical cable. Does this setup sound correct.

      I tried running HDMI thru the surround system and then run HDMI from the surround to the TV and the TV occasionally  did not pick up the HTPC signal.
