Are 5400RPM hard drives fast enough for a WHS system delivering HD content across a wired gigabit network?

Newegg has 2 Samsung Spinpoint F2EG 5400RPM 1.5TB drives for $200 with free shipping. Should I pick these up for my upcoming WHS build?
