That is why I said “The lack of VIDEO_TS and BDMV support is what kills Windows Media Center Extenders (MCX)” and “SageTV makes extenders that are considerably better”
It is a huge gap. And I’m glad there are work-arounds, I wrote some myself, but native support will always win in SAF. I’ve ultimately given up on extenders, my Core i3 system uses less power, is damn near silent and I don’t have to worry about Extender support.
