I’ve been keeping PowerDVD Ultra 7.3 on my system “just in case” I wanted to play the few HD DVDs that I have. Recently I bought several HD DVDs for cheap at Amazon. Last night we sat down to watch one, and the audio sync was terrible the longer it ran. This morning I put in another disc just to make sure it wasn’t the movie, and this disc did the same thing. I’ve updated to the most recent version of 7.3 so that I was able to play one of the newer blurays. Did 7.3 get “broken” for HD DVD somewhere along the way in its updates? I know it’s not the system, because last night I started off on another PC, and it did the same thing (with the same version of PDVD). I’ve done some searching but didn’t come up with anything. Maybe not enough people are trying to use PDVD for HD DVD.
